monopoly @ Trybe ; LOTR marathon @ Sher's

Yes. now that its the hols, i hav plenty of time to slack n do stuff dat is impossible to do during sch term.

Tuesday: played monopoly wid kai ferdy daniel at trybe centre. nicolette's workin dere so we kinda played arnd wid her too. poor her, having to create a template w/o photoshop. gwd that must suck. well anyw, we played wid uno stacko. n we were basically jus finding new ways to play it. LOl. shall let pics n vid show u wat i mean :

after that went to serangoon to discuss weiyuan zaki n jimmy's birthday plans wid adelia rach li huang(idk how to spell). bev din wana come n ZY came to look for us halfway.
idk why i was sneezing de whole day. it was super cold de whole day. D:

Wednesday:

yupyup. LOTR marathon at Sher's hse. im actually v lazy to blog but after reading sher's, az's n seany's blog n laughing @ their posts, i decided to do mine too. bahhaha! kev az dennis faris laura sean christel n me went.

i LOLed at seany's n sher's post.
basically, we did managed to finish watching the whole of LOTR 1. den de 2nd one was ridded of all Frodo Sam n Smeagol scenes. de 3rd was only interesting scenes n we left at the battle whr the green army came in.

i always found LOTR a great movie n Legolas(orlando) n Frodo(elijah) really cool;cute. but i see LOTR in a whole NEW perspective after ytd.
how we ruined the movie:

relating almost every person-to-person dialogue wid gay undertones.
abt how ELVES are so wonderful n holy that every elf thing is the greatest thing ever.. like elvish bread n elvish PONCHOS.
how elves always have a glow to them (shermaine)
how Legolas is always able to do EVERYTHING becus he is THE elf.
how Legolas is always looking so neat n clean after all the running n battles when all de others hav sweat n blood all over.
how elves or rather THE elf, Legolas, always hav super random dialogues like "The sun is red. Blood has been spilled last night. (cant rmb exactly)" or "The clouds are grey." or "You're late. You look terrible"
wondering how ms evelyn louis' will react if our class start to speak in LOTR language. Eg "Shermaine.. Daughter of Mr Chong.." or "Evelyn.. i know that name..."
how Gandalf the Grey evolved into THE WHITE WIZARD(that nv seem to cast offensive spells) frm lvl1 to lvl65 after fighting a lvl56 Balrog.
abt how they give each other cheeky looks.
abt how Frodo n Sam keeps flirting n skipping all their parts.
how Frodo is always the one being stabbed but yet never seem to die.
arguing wid Az over whether Pippin was plain stupid or just cutely careless.
sean n his unicorns
dennis n his "why cant he just swallow the ring?"

Learning Point: no matter what movie it is, as long as it is watched wid DMC'o4, it will be parodised(is dere such a word?) so badly dat the show will never ever be horrifying/mysterious/tragic/saddening.
