yesterday was Saturday, which means I'd usually be pigging out and slacking away with the boyfriend at his house, watching vids/playing video games,

BUT.
it just so happened that the boyfriend got to do his internship duty ytd and an sdz senior decided to hold an SDZ alumni gathering on ytd - which is a great coincidence.
I haven't been in touch with SDZ happenings for the longest time and I don't have anyone i'm really close to in the club, so it I hesitated quite a bit before deciding to go like, 8 hours before the meeting time of 9.30am.

So when I dug myself up with barely 4hrs+ of sleep and prepped and head down to harbourfront mrt, I was still rather apprehensive about meeting the people who RSVPed 'attending' the event. and when i reached, late, only vincent, jiawen and samantha was there, which was quite sad actually - the turn-up rate.

but blabla. reached there, people started to come one by one. played a bit of vball, got smacked in the face by the vball thanks to zul's very powerful serves. lol. and just chilled. it was really quite awkward at the start, considering im not the most sociable person in the world, but it was still nice catching up with some of them, and with the club's happenings. I did feel a lil out-of-place, like I'm not supposed to be there, as I hardly know them anymore and I hardly know what's happening in SDZ, but it's was not too bad.

and I'm really thankful for vincent for inviting me to the event. :)

Overall, it wasn't that bad and I'm glad i went; instead of rotting at home in front of my computer.. and I got to do the MegaZip for free! (usually $38!) all thanks to a modern jnr, who is alrdy alumni also, who was working there at that time. =D so awesomeeee~
